                                            OVERVIEW

                                                 PROPERTY PURCHASED 06/09/2006

Bellara Park is situated on sixty five acres close to the Mt Lindsay Highway , 8 klm from Beaudesert at Veresdale in Queensland. The property has rural views to the Great Dividing Range and it is the Bell family residence.

What started off as a property for us has turned into a venue for everyone.

The indoor arena is available for hire and is already being used by many different horse groups and individuals for training and seminars. The business is continuing to grow with the support of local and interstate riders.

Like most riders of the sixties and seventies Chris and Jane started by joining pony club and showing horses at the local agricultural shows. They campaigned show hacks, showjumpers and eventers. Chris's parents owned the legendary Reo and Chris won many boy rider Championships on Reo and Fluency before graduating to showjumping and eventing. Then came a period when they put their own riding on hold to raise a family. Horses were always a part of the family sporting arrangements and many a weekend  was spent travelling to gymkhanas and local shows.

They have always had horses that could turn their hand to whatever venture that was required and sons David and Ben grew up mustering cattle , trail riding,  pony clubbing and showing on ponies carefully selected for their versatility and temperament.

Chris and Jane have used thoroughbreds over the years but are now breeding Warmblood performance horses for dressage and showjumping. Ben is pursuing a career as a farrier whilst still riding and training showjumpers.

From a few mares purchased from Lourdes Park Stud and Goren Toren Stud, our stud has increased in size to include the warmblood stallion GT Daniro purchased at the Belcam auction in 2007. Danny's foals are a pleasure to behold and to handle. They are for any horse person from the amateur rider to the professional. Bred from a range of quality mares they are suited to the Olympic disciplines of dressage, hacking, showjumping or eventing. As the stud evolves, broodmares and foals will be available to buyers and can be purchased singley or as a package..
Some limited frozen semen foals by international stallions are available.
